From We had an opportunity to visit the Gulf of Mexico to start the New Year. We were at a nice campground right on the Gulf called Ho-Hum RV Park just outside of Carrabelle, FL. We had our nose pointed right at the Gulf. Just so happened that it was the coldest they had been in several years (18 & 22 degrees on the 2 nights we were there). We did have fun and Tripper had a ball being able to run on the beach without a leash. We hope everyone has a wonderful New Year and are looking for good things to happen as we Rick & Marry Ann Spilman |

We went to Tuscumbia, Al and toured the home of Helen Keller. Very remarkable lady. Then went to Cherokee, AL to the Coon Dog Cemetery. It has been there since the 30's. The cemetery was in the movie Sweet Home Alabama. Fun day. Myra, David, Kay and Don |

Hi Ya’ll Here are a few shots of our visit to Jetty Park in Cape Canaveral, Florida. We had three coaches from the club and spent 5 days looking over the area. Bill Moye and his wife Jean brought their friends Durwood and Sybil along in their camper. Danny and Johnnie Carroll invited us back in November to make a reservation as this park is full this time of year. It is just a short walk to the beach and to the canal where the Cruise Ships come in and go out to sea. We had a great time and the weather was beautiful, except for the tornado that touched down in Coco Beach (three miles as the crow fly's) the day we arrived. It is a great place to visit if you get a chance. Take care, Jim |

We spent Memorial Day with our friends Danny and Johnnie at Raccoon River Campground in Panama City Beach, Fl and had some beautiful weather. The campground is one block from the white sand beaches of the Gulf and the place filled up for the big weekend. We found a great place to eat with early bird specials that include oysters for $1.99 a dozen, 2 for one drinks and a list of $10 dinners that were very good. I did a little treasure hunting with my metal detector on the beach too. We had a great time and we would recommend Raccoon River to anyone that likes a friendly place to stay. Have a great summer, Jim |
